Staff Sergeant Allen is a Lynchburg native. He has been in the United States Marines Corps for 16 years. He currently manages the Marine recruitment station on Lakeside Drive. Staff Sergeant Allen is married and has 3 daughters. He is eager to try something new like dancing and is thrilled to be able to help give back to children in the community.

Born in New York City, Meagan Swithers' dance career began at age three and has continued ever since. Meagan holds both a B.A. in Dance and M.A.T. in Curriculum & Instruction from Randolph College. Meagan - now happily living in Lynchburg - teaches 4th grade in Lynchburg City, teaches dance at the Red Shoes Dance Academy, stage manages Randolph College Dance Concerts, performs, and choreographs. She is thrilled to be participating in Lynchburg's Dancing with the Stars this year.
